I always listen first. I'll find out what you're comfortable with, what kind of setting feels right, and what you want to remember about this moment. Then I build a session entirely around that — whether that's something soft and intimate at home, or a golden hour session outdoors across Bexleyheath or the surrounding area.

Nervous about being in front of the camera?
You wouldn't be the first. A lot of my clients tell me they're not sure they're photogenic enough, or that they feel self-conscious about their bump. I hear this all the time — and the photos always prove those worries wrong.
I'm calm, warm, and completely non-judgemental. I'll never put you in a pose that doesn't feel right and I'll never rush you. The session moves at your pace, full stop. By the end, most clients forget they're being photographed at all — and those are always the best shots.

Maternity photography questions
When is the best time to book a maternity shoot?
Around 28–34 weeks is usually the sweet spot — your bump is beautifully visible but you're still feeling comfortable and mobile. That said, I'm flexible, so just get in touch and I'll advise on what works best for you.
Can my partner or other children come along?
Absolutely — partners and siblings are always welcome. I'm great with kids and know how to keep things relaxed when little ones are involved.
Indoor or outdoor — which is better?
Neither is better — it depends entirely on what feels right for you. I'll help you decide during our pre-shoot chat. Some people love the natural light of an outdoor session; others prefer the comfort and intimacy of home.
What should I wear?
I'll give you guidance on this before your session. Generally, simple and comfortable works best — but I'll tailor the advice to your shoot and the look you're going for.
Do you cover areas outside Bexleyheath?
