Most couples feel awkward in front of a camera — and that's completely normal. I don't direct you into poses that feel unnatural or spend the session telling you where to put your hands. I create a relaxed environment, keep things moving naturally, and catch the moments in between — the laughs, the glances, the stuff that actually makes a great photo.

For couples booking me for their wedding, an engagement shoot beforehand is one of the best things you can do. By the time your wedding day arrives, you already know how I work — and I already know how you move, laugh, and interact together.

The difference it makes to the wedding photos is real. Couples who've done a shoot with me beforehand are visibly more relaxed on the day — and it shows in every single frame.

Do we need a reason to book a couples shoot?

Absolutely not. Plenty of my clients just want some photos together that actually look like them. An anniversary, a milestone, or simply because you've never had any decent ones — all perfectly good reasons.

Where do the shoots take place?

Wherever feels right for you. I know brilliant spots across Bexleyheath and the surrounding areas — and I'll suggest options based on the look and feel you're after. Or if you have somewhere in mind, I'll make it work.

We're both really awkward in front of a camera — will that be a problem?

I hear this constantly — and it's never been a problem yet. I keep sessions relaxed and low-key, and within about ten minutes most couples completely forget there's a camera there.

Is an engagement shoot worth it if we're already booking you for our wedding?

100% yes. It means you arrive on your wedding day already comfortable with me and how I work. The difference to the photos is genuinely noticeable.

Do you shoot outside Bexleyheath?

Yes — I cover Bexley, Sidcup, Orpington, Wilmington, Chislehurst, and the wider South East London and Kent area. Just get in touch to check your location.
